Floating roller peel fixture is a specialized fixture in material testing to evaluate the peel strength of adhesives and bonded materials. The fixture consists of a roller mechanism designed to apply consistent peeling forces to a bonded test specimen. The "floating" aspect refers to the ability of the roller to move freely in response to the forces exerted during the peel test, maintaining a uniform pressure and angle as it separates the two bonded materials.
Connections on these grips and fixtures are threaded or have a female eye end. Grips and fixtures with a female eye end will have a 5/8" or 1.25" diameter. These sizes are standard for Lloyd Instruments, Chatillon, and Mark-10 equipment. We also sell these brands of test stands, load cells, and force gauges to use with our grips and fixtures.
We have adapters to fit our grips and fixtures to any test stand brand including Instron, MTS, Zwick, Shimpo, and more.
If you need assistance to determine which grip, fixture or adapter is needed, please contact us.
