Description
This puncture resistance fixture is designed to evaluate the puncture performance of protective materials, including gloves, fabrics, and flexible barriers, in accordance with DIN EN388 and ANSI/ISEA 105:2005 standards.
This test is used to define how well gloves protect against common workplace hazards such as abrasion, cuts, tears, and punctures. This standard is widely used in industries including manufacturing, construction, metal handling, and logistics.
Probe has a 4.5 mm diameter, 30 degree angle to a rounded point. Fixture diameter ring is 20 mm.
This grip is designed to mount on a standard 5/8" eye end. This connection type is commonly used on Lloyd Instruments, Chatillon, and Mark-10 equipment. We also sell these brands of test stands, load cells, and force gauges to use with our grips and fixtures. Adapters are available to accommodate other connection types and sizes.
