Coefficient of Friction Testing Fixtures

Coefficient of friction testing is a crucial measurement in materials science for measuring the amount of friction between two surfaces in contact. Coefficient of friction quantifies the ratio of the force required to overcome the sliding resistance between two materials to the force pressing them together.

Connections on these grips and fixtures are threaded or have a female eye end. Grips and fixtures with a female eye end will have a 5/8" diameter. These sizes are standard for Lloyd Instruments, Chatillon, and Mark-10 equipment. We also sell these brands of test stands, load cells, and force gauges to use with our grips and fixtures for a complete testing system.
