Pneumatic grips are ideal for testing samples that are sensitive to clamping forces and in applications requiring high specimen throughput. The gripping force can be precisely controlled by adjusting the air pressure supplied to the grips, ensuring consistent and reliable clamping. This results in increased repeatability of test results, as the gripping force remains constant throughout the testing process.

Connections on these grips and fixtures are threaded or have a female eye end. Grips and fixtures with a female eye end will have a 5/8" or 1.25" diameter. These sizes are standard for Lloyd Instruments, Chatillon, and Mark-10 equipment. We also sell these brands of test stands, load cells, and force gauges to use with our grips and fixtures.

We have adapters to fit our grips and fixtures to any test stand brand including Instron, MTS, Zwick, Shimpo, and more.
